It looks like “Robert Langdon” is following me on Twitter, thanks to a name-check from yesterday. I kinda feel sorry for the Doubleday intern assigned to that account, but that’s not going to stop me from asking if Robert can interpret certain, um, “symbols,” to help me solve a mystery.

Checking to see when Jim Jarmusch’s next movie comes out (May 1, in limited release, which means it may come to Memphis eventually or it may not), I ran across the entire first episode of Fishing with John on Google Video, in which John Lurie and Jim Jarmusch go fishing for sharks. I can’t MAKE you watch it, but it’s definitely worth watching.

Back in the day, the inimitable Lore Sjoberg wrote a rating of breakfast cereals in which he lamented the fact that they hadn’t followed Apple Jacks with Kahlua Krispies, which put the wisps of a thought in my head.
