You laugh, but you know it would work.My two genius inventions are:
a) the Shower Hammock
b) The Beer Slushie.
Our three items combined, sold at ballparks, carnivals and Bed, Bath & Beyond, would contribute to the Death of America.
Let’s do this.
Corn-Pops-on-a-stick:
- 6 cups Corn Pops
- 3 cups marshmallows
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Microwave butter and marshmallows on high for 2 minutes. Stir, then microwave for another minute. Stir in cereal. Press into a 13” x 9” baking dish. Cut into six (approximately) 2” x 9” sticks. Insert a popsicle stick into each bar. Place on a half-sheet pan lined with wax paper in freezer for an hour or so.
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave Screw the powdered sugar, coat the bars in melted chocolate (set on wax or parchment paper), and place back into the freezer for the chocolate to harden.
Yes, this is the Rice Krispie Treats recipe using Corn Pops. Tell me it wouldn’t be great.
(I’d offer my services on the beer slushie, but the beer slushies I’ve made in the past have been less-than-spectactular)
